Success Stories and Inspiration

Adaptive golf isn't just about the game; it's about reclaiming independence and fostering a community of inclusion. Through proven techniques, we empower every individual to reach their full potential on and off the green.

Mark Taylor, EDGA Head of Coach Education and Instruction, led the first-ever EDGA adaptive golf training session in the United States in June 2026.

The National Ability Center and Glenwild Golf Club hosted volunteers, NAC staff and PGA Golf Professionals for a day of education and inspiration in preparation for the NAC starting an adaptive golf pilot program in 2026.

Sam

Sam and I have been working togther for over 10 years. He is a hard-working and dedicated player. I have learned so much about coaching a player with adaptive needs by working with Sam.

He played two years of competitive golf at the collegiant level. Sam is now ranked #5 in the US in the G1 division by the USAGA ranking system.

Brian

Brian and I met at an adaptive golf clinic at Hubbard Golf Course, located at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, UT.

He had not hit a golf ball since his accident over 10 years ago. Prior to his injury, he played golf with a respectable 10 handicap.

His doubts of playing were quickly erased as he discovered slight modifications needed to strike the ball solid.  The joy he shared that day was a huge impact on my interest in becoming more involved with growing  adaptive golf.
